HP Linux 프린팅과 이미징 - gs IJS 드라이버 (hpijs)

이 패키지에는 고스트스크립트용 IJS 프린터 드라이버가 들어있어 HP에서 만든 대부분의 잉크젯 프린터와 일부 레이저젯 프린터를 지원합니다. HPLIP 팩스 지원에도 필요합니다.

hpijs 데비안 패키지에는 rss 패치라는 것이 포함되어 펌웨어에서 색 맵 변환을 하지 않는 프린터에서 혼합 검정 대신 순수 검정 잉크를 쓸 수 있습니다.

HPIJS는 가능할 경우 고스트스크립트 IJS KRGB를 활용해 색 맵 변환을 하는 프린터에서 검은색 인쇄를 강화해 옛 rss 패치의 영향을 받지 않습니다.

CUPS 인쇄 시스템 사용자는 hplip 패키지를 설치하고 hp CUPS 백엔드를 사용해 데이터를 프린터에 보내기를 권합니다. HPLIP는 USB, 네트워크 연결, 병렬 포트 기기를 지원하고 테두리 없는 인쇄 같은 확장된 HPIJS 기능을 사용할 수 있습니다. CUPS에서 hpijs ppd를 선택하면 hpijs를 자동으로 사용합니다.

USB나 병렬 포트로 연결된 프린터에서 CUPS가 아니라 스풀러를 사용한다면 hpoj 패키지를 설치하기를 권합니다. 확장된 HPIJS 기능을 사용할 수 없을 것입니다.

HPIJS는 foomatic 시스템을 통해 사용할 수 있게 되어 있습니다(foomatic-filters 패키지를 보십시오).
