Bcrypt는 크로스 플랫폼 파일 암호 유틸리티입니다. 암호화된 파을은 지원되는 모든 운영체제와 프로세서에 이식할 수 있습니다. 사용자 데이터를 암호화하는 것 이외에, bcrypt는 사용자 컴퓨터에 접근 권한을 가진 사람에 의해 데이터가 복구되는 것을 막기위해 데이터를 지우기 전에 임의 쓸모없는 데이터로 원래 입력 파일을 세 번 덮어 쓸 것입니다. Bcrypt는 1993년 Bruce Schneier가 공개한 blowfish 암호화 알고리즘을 사용합니다.
