OSS 응용프로그램을 위한 ALSA 래퍼

이 패키지에는 프로그램 로더와 호환 라이브러리로 OSS용으로 만들어진 응용프로그램을 감싸는 aoss가 들어있습니다. aoss를 통해 OSS용 응용프로그램이 ALSA에서 동작하게 됩니다.

응용프로그램이 OSS용으로 만들어졌을 경우 응용프로그램이 ALSA를 쓰게 하는 데는 두 가지 방법이 있습니다. 첫 번째 방법은 OSS 커널 인터페이스를 에뮬레이트하는 특별한 ALSA 드라이버를 로드하는 것입니다. 이렇게 하면 응용프로그램이 /dev/dsp0과 다른 OSS 장치 파일을 열 수 있습니다. 두 번째 방법은 응용프로그램을 이 패키지에서 제공하는 libaoss 라이브러리에 감싸는 것입니다. 래퍼가 응용프로그램이 OSS 장치 파일 대신 /dev/snd/pcmC0D0c같은 고유 ALSA 장치 파일에 접근할 수 있게 합니다.

ALSA의 PCM 플러그인 레이어를 사용하고 싶다면 OSS 에뮬레이션 드라이버를 사용하는 것보다는 alsa-oss 라이브러리를 사용하기를 권합니다.
