rsync를 이용한 파일 시스템 기반 백업 시스템

온라인 저장장치에 여러 개의 백업을 유지하는 유틸리티입니다. 각 백업은 일종의 스냅샷 디렉토리로 사용할 수 있고 공통되는 파일은 서로 다른 백업 생성 간에 공유됩니다. dirvish는 실제 복사를 하는 데 rsync를 사용합니다.

백업은 로컬이나 네트워크를 통해(ssh 사용) 할 수 있습니다.
