デスクトップ検索エンジン (デーモン)

メタデータに対してパターンマッチングを使うことにより、ハードディスク中の ファイルを検査します。libextractor を使ってファイルフォーマット特有の メタデータを抽出し、ファイルの索引づけのためにサフィックスツリーを構築します。 索引は高速に検索できます。locate に似ていますが、ID3 タグのような情報を 利用できます。適切な libextractor プラグインを使ってフルテキスト検索を実行 できます。データベースを最新に保つため、FAM の利用もサポートしています。

doodle データベースを自動更新し続けるためのデーモンです。
