Python Imaging Library (PIL)

Python Imaging Library (PIL) は、Python インタプリタに画像オブジェクトを追 加します。さまざまなフォーマットの画像ファイルをオブジェクトとしてロードで きるようになり、そのオブジェクトに対していろいろな操作ができるようになります。

画像オブジェクト:

 o 二値化、グレイスケール、パレット、true colour (RGB)、透過付き true
   colour (RGBA)
 o 色の分離 (CMYK)
 o コピー、カット、ペースト操作
 o 反転、転置、サイズ変更、回転、任意のアフィン変換
 o 透過操作
 o チャンネルおよびポイント操作
 o 行列操作を含む色変換
 o 渦巻きフィルタを含む画像処理

ファイル形式:

 o 完全対応 (開く、ロード、保存): BMP, EPS (Ghostscript を使用), GIF, IM,
   JPEG, MSP, PDF, PNG, PPM, TIFF, XBM
 o 読み込み (開く、ロード) のみ: ARG, CUR, DCX, FLI, FPX, GBR, GD, ICO,
   IMT, IPTC, MCIDAS, MPEG, PhotoCD, PCX, PIXAR, PSD, TGA, SGI, SUN, TGA,
   WMF, XPM
 o 保存のみ: PDF, EPS (Ghostscript は不要)
