本パッケージには、aspell スペルチェッカ用のドイツ語辞書が含まれます。

含まれる辞書は de_DE (ドイツ), de_CH (スイス) および de_AT で、すべて 1996 年以降のドイツ語新正書法 (neue Rechtschreibung) を用いています。

古い (1901 年式の) 綴りは aspell-de-alt パッケージが提供しています。
