PostScript フォントマネージャ -- Defoma の一部

psfontmgr は、Defoma の枠組みを経由して PostScript フォントを管理します。 利用可能な PostScript フォントの名前を Defoma の PostScript カテゴリに 登録するので、PostScript 出力を行なうアプリケーションは、利用可能な全 PostScript フォントをフォント選択メニュー内から選ぶことができます。

また defoma-psfont-installer という名前のツールも提供され、PostScript プリンタにインストールされている PostScript フォントを登録してくれます。 PostScript ファイルをプリンタフォントを使って印刷したくて、しかもその プリンタフォントをフォント選択メニューから選びたい人には便利なツール です。
