簡単に使える分散型バージョン管理システム

Bazaar は分散型バージョン管理システムです。簡単に使えて、直感的で、いろいろ なワークフローに適用でき、信頼性があり、かつ、簡単に拡張できるように設計さ れています。

ブランチの公開はプレインな HTTP で行うことができます。つまり、Bazaar のブラ ンチをホストするのにはサーバ上に特別なソフトウェアは必要ありません。ブラン チをサーバにプッシュするには sftp (大抵 SSH をインストールしたときに付いて きます)、FTP、あるいは bzr がリモートコンピュータにインストールされているな ら専用のより速いプロトコルを使うことができます。

Bazaar におけるマージは簡単で、実装は多くの偽の衝突を避け、ブランチ間の繰り 返されるマージを上手く処理し、改名されたファイルへの変更を正しく扱うことが できます。

Bazaar は Python で書かれており、柔軟なプラグインインタフェースを持つので、 それを使って機能を拡張することができます。多くのプラグインが存在しており、 有用な命令や (bzrtools), グラフィカルインタフェース (bzr-gtk), Subversion のブランチとのネイティブインタラクション (bzr-svn) を提供します。

ブランチをリモートホストに sftp でプッシュするには python-paramiko を、SSL の証明書を常に検証するには python-pycurl をインストールしてください。
