AlsaModularSynth è un sintetizzatore modulare ed un elaboratore di effetti in tempo reale. Tra le sue caratteristiche:

 * sintesi software modulare controllata da MIDI;
 * elaborazione di effetti in tempo reale con cattura da, per esempio, "Line
   In" o "Mic In";
 * pieno controllo di tutti i parametri di sintesi e di effetti via MIDI;
 * navigatore LADSPA integrato con funzionalità di ricerca;
 * supporto JACK.
