DejaGnu è un framework per testare altri programmi. Il suo scopo è fornire un frontend unico per tutti i test.

DejaGnu fornisce un livello d'astrazione che permette di scrivere test che sono portabili su qualunque piattaforma sulla quale un programma dovrà essere testato. Tutti i test generano output con lo stesso formato.

DejaGnu è scritto in "expect", che a sua volta usa Tcl (Tool command language).
