Interfaccia GNOME per configurare il sistema di filtri di stampa Foomatic

Foomatic è un sistema di stampa progettato per rendere facile l'impostazione delle stampanti più comuni per l'uso con Debian (e altri sistemi operativi). Fornisce il "collante" tra un sistema di coda di stampa (come CUPS o lpr) e la stampante, dando informazioni so come elaborare i file inviati alla stampante.

Questo pacchetto contiene un'interfaccia utente grafica, basata su GNOME, per semplificare la configurazione di stampanti che usano Foomatic.

Per gestire stampanti remote si raccomanda netcat, pconf-detect, nmap e smbclient.
