client WHOIS intelligente

Questo pacchetto fornisce un client a riga di comando per il protocollo WHOIS (RFC 3912), che interroga i server in linea per informazioni come i dettagli dei contatti per assegnamenti dei domini e degli indirizzi IP. Può scegliere in modo intelligente il server WHOIS appropriato per la maggior parte delle interrogazioni.

Il pacchetto contiene anche mkpasswd, un'interfaccia ricca di opzioni per la funzionalità di cifratura delle password crypt(3).
