Un kit di sviluppo multimediale per Python. Pygame fornisce moduli per accedere allo schermo video, suonare musica, registrare i tempi, interpretare il mouse e il joystick, controllare il lettore CD, fare il rendering di tipi di caratteri True Type e altro. Esegue queste operazioni principalmente utilizzando la libreria multipiattaforma SDL, un wrapper leggero alle API specifiche del sistema operativo.
