KeePassX è un gestore, o una cassaforte, per password libero e open source che aiuta a gestire le proprie password in modo sicuro. Si possono inserire tutte le proprie password in un unico database che è sigillato con una chiave principale o con un disco-chiave. Perciò, per aprire l'intero database, basta ricordarsi una sola password principale o inserire il disco-chiave. I database sono cifrati usando l'algoritmo AES o Twofish.
