Icecast è un server per streaming multimediale versatile che può creare (ad esempio) un jukebox privato o "una stazione radio Internet". Gestisce flussi audio Ogg usando i codec Vorbis e Theora, ma anche altri formati come MP3, AAC o NSV ed è compatibile con la maggior parte dei riproduttori multimediali.
