BLD significa "Black List Daemon" ed è concepito per costruire blacklist usando semplici regole basate su un massimo numero di invii dallo stesso indirizzo IP durante un intervallo minimo di tempo. Inizialmente BLD era stato progettato per combattere contro lo spam basato su dizionario (facendo in modo che l'MTA segnalasse a BLD qualsiasi host che tentasse di inviare una mail ad un utente sconosciuto), ma può essere usato da qualsiasi applicazione che richieda una blacklist basata su limiti di frequenza di connessioni.

Questo pacchetto contiene strumenti aggiuntivi da usarsi con bld.
