BitTorrent è uno strumento per la distribuzione di file peer-to-peer.

Azureus permette di scaricare più torrent, ha un sistema a code con priorità (per torrent e file), opzioni per avviare e fermare il seeding e l'accesso istantaneo alla maggior parte delle informazioni sui propri torrent. Adesso Azureus dispone anche di un tracker incorporato che può essere facilmente configurato e usato.
