shell aderente a POSIX

La Debian Almquist Shell (dash) è una shell leggera, aderente agli standard POSIX, derivata da ash.

Può essere installata utilmente come /bin/sh (perché esegue script più velocemente di bash) o come shell predefinita per il superutente. Dipende da meno librerie di bash ed è perciò meno probabile che venga influenzata da problemi di aggiornamento o danneggiamenti del disco. Inoltre è utile per controllare l'aderenza agli standard POSIX degli script.
