cifratura e decifrazione sicure di file e flussi di dati

ccrypt è una utilità per la cifratura e la decifrazione di file e flussi di dati. È stata progettata come sostituto dell'utilità standard UNIX crypt, che è nota per l'uso di un algoritmo di cifratura molto debole. ccrypt si basa sul cifrario Rijndael che è il candidato scelto dal governo degli Stati Uniti per l'Advanced Encryption Standard (AES, vedere http://www.nist.gov/aes). Si pensa che questo cifrario fornisca una sicurezza molto forte.
