Questo potrebbe essere d'aiuto se il filesystem diventa corrotto così tanto da manomettere il funzionamento delle librerie condivise usate dallo strumento di controllo con il link dinamico.

Questo eseguibile però occupa più spazio della sua controparte dinamica che si trova in e2fsprogs.

Si potrebbe voler installare anche una shell con link statico, per poter eseguire questo programma se è corrotto qualcosa tipo la libreria C.
