Questa utilità converte il formato nativo (RAW) di varie macchine fotografiche digitali nel formato .ppm (netpbm portable pixmap). Sono supportati i seguenti modelli: Canon, Kodak, Olympus, Nikon, Fuji, Minolta e Sigma (consultare http://www.cybercom.net/~dcoffin/dcraw/ per l'elenco completo). Nota: questa utilità non legge direttamente dalla fotocamera, ma solo i file una volta scaricati. Usare gphoto2 per fare ciò.
