GNU-kuvankäsittelyohjelma

GIMP on edistynyt kuvankäsittelyohjelma. Voit käyttää sitä kuvien ja skannausten muokkaamiseen, parantamiseen sekä jälkikäsittelyyn. Voit luoda piirroksia ja tehdä omia kuviasi. GIMPissä on myös laaja valikoima ammattilaistasoisia muokkaustyökaluja ja suotimia, samanlaisia kuin esimerkiksi Photoshopissa. Useat hienosäätöiset asetukset ja ominaisuudet kuten tasot, viivat, maskit ja skriptit antavat sinulle täyden kontrollin kuviisi.

GIMP tukee monia kuvatiedostomuotoja kuten JPEG, Photoshop (.psd) ja Paint Shop Pro (.psp). Sitä voidaan käyttää myös kuvien skannaukseen ja tulostamiseen.
