Asiakirjojen lukuohjelma (postscript, pdf)

Evince on yksinkertainen monisivuisten asiakirjojen lukuohjelma. Se kykenee esittämään ja tulostamaan seuraavia tiedostomuotoja: PostScript (PS), Encapsulated PostScript (EPS), DJVU, DVI ja Portable Document Format (PDF). Ohjelmalla voi myös tehdä tekstihakuja, kopioida tekstiä leikepöydälle, käyttää hypertekstilinkkejä tai sisällysluettelon kirjanmerkkejä, jos tarkasteltava asiakirja tukee kyseistä ominaisuutta.

PDF-mallintajan perustana on poppler. PS-mallintaja käyttää Ghostscriptiä.
