debian-installer udeb package

Warning: This package is intended for the use in building debian-installer images only. Do not install it on a normal Debian system.

/dev/ and hotplug management daemon

udev is a daemon which dynamically creates and removes device nodes from /dev/, handles hotplug events and loads drivers at boot time. It replaces the hotplug package and requires a kernel not older than 2.6.12.

This is a minimal version for use in debian-installer.
