Python bindings to access Gmail accounts

The libgmail project is a pure Python binding to provide access to Google's Gmail web-mail service. The library comes with a couple of examples which can archive Gmail messages to the mailbox format, use Gmail as SMTP server, access the account via POP3, and browse attachments with FTP.
