Generic Ada Reusable Library for Interpartition Communication

Annex E of the Ada 95 language standard allows to create an application where objects are physically distributed over a network of machines, without having to interface to any low-level communication layer.

GARLIC is the run-time library that allows partitions in a distributed Ada program to communicate with one another. It is part of GLADE, a libre implementation of the Distributed Systems Annex for the GNAT compiler. GLADE stands for GNAT Library for Ada Distributed Execution.

This package contains the static library, source files, and Ada Library Information files necessary to build distributed applications.

The license of this library has changed to the pure GPL; see the copyright file for details.
