A DAV module for Apache

mod_dav is an Apache module to provide DAV capabilities for the Apache web server. For apache2 this module is included in apache2-common. Upstream site is http://www.webdav.org/mod_dav/

DAV (also referred to as WebDAV) stands for Distributed Authoring and Versioning. It provides a standardized "filesystem" over HTTP and could be used for simple things as authoring web pages or much more complex things. There are clients for a variety of operating systems available, and also modules to mount this filesystem under linux.
