Consola compatible con POSIX

«Debian Almquist Shell» (dash) es una consola ligera compatible con POSIX derivada de ash.

Se puede tener instalada como /bin/sh (porque ejecuta los scripts más rápido que bash), o como la consola predeterminada del superusuario. Depende de menos bibliotecas que bash, y además es menos posible que le afecte un problema de actualización o fallo de disco. También es útil para comprobar la compatibilidad de los scripts con POSIX.
