Stjernekorts fremviser i 3-d perspektiv

StarPlot er et GTK+-baseret program som kan bruges interaktivt til 3-dimensionelt at vise stjernekort. Kortene kan centeres, roteres, eller zoomes ind eller ud med et museklik (dette kan selvfølgeligt også gøres mere præcist via dialogbokse). Stjerner kan vises (eller ignoreres) under punkterne spektral klasse og absolute magnitude.

StarPlot er pakket sammen med starconvert, et værktøj som kan konvertere linjebaseret stellare datafiler til StarPlot formatet. De fleste stjernedatafiler, som er tilgængelige på internettet, kan konverteres på denne måde, hvis en kort fil som beskriver den originale fils format, gives til starconvert.
