Fluidsynth je realtimový syntetizér midi založený na specifikacích soundfont2. Můžete ho použít pro vykreslení vstupu MIDI nebo souborů MIDI na zvuk. Události MIDI je možné číst ze zařízení MIDI. Zvuk se vykresluje za chodu na výstupní zvukové zařízení.
