Šifrovaná záloha efektivně využívající šířku pásma

Duplicity zálohuje adresáře pomocí vytváření šifrovaných svazků ve formátu tar a posílá je na vzdálený nebo místní souborový server. Protože duplicity používá librsync, inkrementální zálohy jsou úsporné na využití místa a pouze zaznamenávají části souborů, které se změnili od poslední zálohy. Duplicity používá GnuPG - pro šifrování a/nebo podepsání těchto archivů, takže je chráněný proti špehovacím programům a/nebo úpravám na serveru.
