This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of OPIE. The debian package is maintained by Michael Stone from source available at http://inner.net/pub/opie/. The debian package was originally assembled by Matt Kern . The changes to the source were restricted to the build system to make it compatible with Debian as well as replacing libopie/md5c.c and md4c.c with DFSG free version by Andrew Tridgell and L. Peter Deutsch.
