- Always keep the network interface "up". This is needed for the
sis900 driver, and possibly others.
- Implement multiple-interface support. This needs more work in

and is probably buggy.

laptop-net (1.4-2) stable; urgency=low
* Make the init.d be run earlier than pcmcia-cs, so that the network
module is loaded first. This is needed so that the network gets eth0;
otherwise pcmcia-cs will get it (if a network card is in the socket at
boot) and ifd will be mistakenly watching aa pcmcia network card
rather than the built-in network.
The correct fix is to find some way to figure out which network device
is associated with the built-in network, and to watch that device. I
don't yet know how to do that, so this workaround will have to do for
now.

ob6000-net (1.1-1) stable; urgency=medium
* Make another attempt to fix problems with Linux 2.4.0. Previous
solution works in limited situations but not in all. In particular,
the suspend support for the network driver doesn't interact well with
DHCP. This version uses the same strategy for both 2.2.x and 2.4.x,
unloading and reloading the module around the suspend. This also
works around a bug in the 2.4.0 kernel that causes multiple resume
events to be sent to apmd.

ob6000-net (1.0-4) stable; urgency=medium
